Platform Partnerships Lead
Build the partnerships that put Humotron inside the platforms brands, employers and consultants already use.
- Location
- London. Remote first, in person once a month
- Type
- Full-time
- Level
- Senior.
- Reports to
- Chinmay Bhatt, founder and CEO
- Starts
- From Monday 11 January 2027.
- Pay
- Fixed base, bonus and share options (ESOPs). We go through all three on the first call.
The role
Most of the businesses we want to reach already run on someone else’s platform: a commerce platform, an agency’s recommended set of tools, an employee benefits provider, a tracker maker’s app. One good partnership with a platform can put Humotron in front of hundreds of brands, employers or consultants at once.
Your job is to build those partnerships. That means the commerce platforms and their app stores, starting with Shopify, the agencies that build and run wellness stores, the benefits platforms that employers buy from, and the companies that make the trackers people wear. For each, you will work out what they gain, agree how we work together and make the partnership produce real customers, not just a logo on a slide.
It is patient, relationship-led work with long conversations, and it suits someone who enjoys understanding how another company makes its decisions.
What good looks like
You understand each of our three business products, Commerce, Consultants and Benefits, and who buys them. You have mapped the platforms that matter for each and can explain why you would start where you would start.
You have live conversations with the platforms at the top of your list and a clear proposal in front of each. Our first platform listing is supported by the people at that platform who can help it be found.
A small number of platform partnerships are sending us customers regularly. Each has a named owner on the other side, an agreed way of working, and numbers we both look at. Agencies recommend us without being asked.
What you will do
- Map the platforms, agencies and networks that reach our customers, and choose the few worth real effort.
- Build relationships with the partner, app-store and business-development teams at commerce platforms.
- Develop an agency programme: who we work with, what they get, how they are trained and how referrals are tracked.
- Open and progress conversations with employee benefits platforms and insurers, where Humotron helps each employee find the benefits that suit them.
- Explore partnerships with tracker makers, gyms and wellness programmes that want to give their customers more from the data they already have.
- Write the partnership proposals and agree the terms, working with the founder on anything commercial or legal.
- Work with engineering on what each integration needs, and be realistic with partners about timing.
- Run joint launches and co-marketing with partners once we are live with them.
- Track what each partnership produces and be willing to stop the ones that do not.
What you bring
- Experience building partnerships with technology platforms, marketplaces, agencies or large distribution partners, from first conversation to live.
- Evidence that partnerships you built produced customers or revenue, and that you know how to tell the difference between activity and results.
- The ability to understand a technical integration well enough to explain it accurately, without being an engineer.
- Patience with long conversations and several stakeholders, and the organisation to keep them all moving.
- Clear, plain writing. Much of this job is a well-made one-page proposal.
- Good judgement about what to promise. Our partners trust us with their customers.
Nice to have
- Experience in the Shopify ecosystem, at an app, an agency or Shopify itself.
- Experience selling to or partnering with employee benefits, insurance or wellbeing platforms.
- A network among e-commerce agencies in the UK or US.
- Experience working across the UK, the US and India.
If you have most of this but not all of it, we would still like to hear from you.
Why join
- Three products and three kinds of platform to work with, so there is room to find what works.
- A privacy design that makes partnership conversations easier: the partner never has to hold health data.
- You set the partnership strategy with the founder, not from a brief handed down.
- Early enough that the first partnerships you sign will shape the company.
- Share options, so that you own part of what you help build.
About Humotron
Humotron helps people choose wellness products from their own data. A person connects the tracker they already wear, and we match them to the supplements, skincare, footwear, habits and programmes that suit what their data shows, with the reason for each one. For businesses, the same matching runs inside their own store, practice or benefits programme, and they never see or hold anyone’s health data. Humotron is a wellness service, not a medical one.
Where we are
The product is built. It is live for individuals, and the business products are rolling out now. Humotron Ltd is a new company: founded by one person, built so far with a small development team. These are its first seven hires, and they start in January 2027. We are having first conversations now.
How we work
- Life comes first. We are remote first, we meet in person once a month, and we use AI so that the work fits inside a reasonable week.
- Small team, short distances. You work directly with the founder and see the effect of your work the same week.
- We say what we know and what we do not. That applies to customers, to each other and to this job spec.
- People’s health data is not ours to be careless with. Privacy is part of how the product is built, and part of every decision.
- We would rather show than tell: a working preview on a brand’s own catalogue beats a slide about it.
How we hire
- 1Apply. Attach your CV or add your LinkedIn profile. That is all we need, and a person reads every application.
- 2First call. Thirty minutes with Chinmay, our founder, on the role and on you. We cover base, bonus and share options.
- 3Working session. About an hour on a real problem from the role, worked through together. It is not a take-home test.
- 4Final conversation. Whatever is still open on either side, answered plainly. Then a clear decision, without a long wait.
We are an equal-opportunity employer. If you need an adjustment at any stage, tell us at careers@humotron.com. You will need the right to work in the country you are based in.
