Brand Partnerships Lead
Bring wellness brands onto Humotron and build the partnerships function from the first conversation.
- Location
- London. Remote first, in person once a month
- Type
- Full-time
- Level
- Senior. The first partnerships hire.
- Reports to
- Chinmay Bhatt, founder and CEO
- Starts
- From Monday 11 January 2027.
- Pay
- Fixed base, bonus and share options (ESOPs). We go through all three on the first call.
The role
Wellness brands lose shoppers at the moment of doubt: is this product really for me? Humotron answers that inside the brand’s own store. A shopper connects the tracker they already wear and sees which of the brand’s products suit them, and why. The brand never sees the data.
Your job is to bring brands onto Humotron. You will find the wellness brands this works best for, in supplements, skincare, nutrition, sleep and footwear, start the conversation, show them the product on their own catalogue and take them through to a signed agreement. You are the first person in this function, so you will also decide how it runs: who we talk to, what we say, what we measure and what we stop doing.
This is a role for someone who likes the selling and the building equally. For the first months you will be doing every part of it yourself, alongside the founder.
What good looks like
You know the product well enough to demonstrate it on any brand’s catalogue without help. You have sat in on live conversations, read every reply we have had from brands so far, and written down who you think we should be talking to and why.
You are running your own conversations from first contact to signed agreement. We have a clear picture of which kinds of brand say yes, which say no, and what the reasons are. The pitch, the preview and the follow-up are yours and noticeably better than the ones you inherited.
Brand partnerships is a working function with a repeatable way of finding, winning and keeping brands. Well-known wellness brands are live on Humotron and willing to say so publicly. You have helped hire the people who work alongside you.
What you will do
- Decide which brands we go after and in what order, and keep that list honest as we learn.
- Open conversations with founders and heads of e-commerce, growth and digital at wellness brands, through your own network, outreach, events and introductions.
- Run the whole conversation: first call, a preview built on the brand’s own catalogue, commercial terms, and signature.
- Work with the founder on pricing and terms, and tell us plainly when they are getting in the way.
- Hand each signed brand over cleanly to onboarding, and stay close enough to know whether it is working for them.
- Bring back what brands actually say, word for word, so product and marketing are built on it.
- Represent Humotron at the industry events and communities where wellness brands gather.
- Keep a simple, accurate record of every conversation so that anyone can pick it up.
- Help write the case studies and reference stories that make the next conversation easier.
What you bring
- A track record of winning commercial partnerships or new business with consumer brands, ideally in wellness, health, beauty, nutrition or e-commerce technology.
- Experience selling something new that buyers did not already have a budget line for.
- Comfort talking to a founder in the morning and a head of e-commerce in the afternoon, and adjusting how you explain things to each.
- A working understanding of how an online store makes money: conversion, average order value, repeat purchase, acquisition cost.
- The habit of writing things down clearly and following up when you said you would.
- Care about getting claims right. We work near health, and we do not oversell.
- Willingness to do the unglamorous parts yourself: the list, the first message, the notes.
Nice to have
- An existing network among UK or US wellness, supplement or skincare brands.
- Experience at a Shopify app, a personalisation or reviews tool, or an agency serving direct-to-consumer brands.
- Experience building a partnerships or sales function from nothing.
- Familiarity with wearables and the data they produce.
If you have most of this but not all of it, we would still like to hear from you.
Why join
- You are the first hire in the function. What you build is what it becomes.
- The product already exists and can be shown on a brand’s own catalogue in the first meeting.
- A clear argument: brands personalise for each shopper without ever holding health data.
- You work directly with the founder, with no layers in between.
- Share options, so that you own part of what you help build.
About Humotron
Humotron helps people choose wellness products from their own data. A person connects the tracker they already wear, and we match them to the supplements, skincare, footwear, habits and programmes that suit what their data shows, with the reason for each one. For businesses, the same matching runs inside their own store, practice or benefits programme, and they never see or hold anyone’s health data. Humotron is a wellness service, not a medical one.
Where we are
The product is built. It is live for individuals, and the business products are rolling out now. Humotron Ltd is a new company: founded by one person, built so far with a small development team. These are its first seven hires, and they start in January 2027. We are having first conversations now.
How we work
- Life comes first. We are remote first, we meet in person once a month, and we use AI so that the work fits inside a reasonable week.
- Small team, short distances. You work directly with the founder and see the effect of your work the same week.
- We say what we know and what we do not. That applies to customers, to each other and to this job spec.
- People’s health data is not ours to be careless with. Privacy is part of how the product is built, and part of every decision.
- We would rather show than tell: a working preview on a brand’s own catalogue beats a slide about it.
How we hire
- 1Apply. Attach your CV or add your LinkedIn profile. That is all we need, and a person reads every application.
- 2First call. Thirty minutes with Chinmay, our founder, on the role and on you. We cover base, bonus and share options.
- 3Working session. About an hour on a real problem from the role, worked through together. It is not a take-home test.
- 4Final conversation. Whatever is still open on either side, answered plainly. Then a clear decision, without a long wait.
We are an equal-opportunity employer. If you need an adjustment at any stage, tell us at careers@humotron.com. You will need the right to work in the country you are based in.
